Excellent Scott Atlas interview about COVID response

Notes below are taken from another board I found this video on.

46% of the six most common cancers were not diagnosed during the shutdown.

650,000 Americans are on chemotherapy — half of them didn’t come in for their chemo because they were afraid.

Two-thirds of screenings for cancer were not done.

half of childhood immunizations did not get done.

85% of living organ transplants did not get done.

200,000 cases plus of child abuse in the US during the two months of spring school closures were not reported because schools are the number one agency where abuse is noticed.

One out of four American young adults, college age, who thought of killing themselves in the month of June.

33% drop in heart attack patients, 58% drop in stroke patients.

Heart attack death rate 6% out of hospital, 24% in hospital, and it affects 600,000 people per year. That means over a two month period there should have been 100,000 heart attacks and instead there were only 67,000. Those 33,000 people had their survival rate drop from 24% to 6%, an extra 6,000 deaths just in March and April.

You're 33% more likely to not have disability or death if you go to the hospital within 3 hours, so I guess screw those 25,000 (795,000/6 x 0.58 x 0.33) people in March and April who could be alive or without disability.

15,000 extra Alzheimer's deaths not attributable to Covid.

100% of Redditors who completely ignore all of these things and what u/potential_portlander posted as well and then claims that we're undercounting Covid deaths because excess mortality is higher than the official Covid death count.
