The greatest band there ever was, YES
Even back in the day of bowie and roxy music, before then cat stevens, their music was magic, Even then the mainstream media shut them out. They were quite prolific.

Always remember these words: Work hard, study well, and eat and sleep plenty! That is the Turtle Hermit way! We must master the art of peace in addition to the art of war!

Correct OP — Yes was from an era where reality and music made sense. Trevor Horn did excellent production on 90125.

Loved 90125. Jon Anderson knew who he could work with to make an excellent product. I'm stil trying to catch up, but I did see him live solo 1000 hands tour two or 3 years ago and he was fantastic.

90125 was a great album but seek out close to the edge, fragile and the others before, yessongs, tales of topographic oceans, etc. like I said Yes was prolific yet not well played in our everyday life.

OP probably isn't referring to 90125 era music, but rather Fagile, Close to the Edge, Tales, etc. The music of awakening.

You're right. Went through the beginning with Rick Wakeman, then fast forward Patrick Moraz.

saw them live, saw lots of concerts, YES was the best shows I've ever seen in my life.

Re: The greatest band there ever was, YES
Been a Yeshead since 1973, first Yesshows I saw were Hollywood Bowl 75 and Anaheim Stadium 76 when they were still playing Close To The Edge, Tales From Topographic Oceans and Relayer in it's entirity! Nothing in modern music touches the heights they reached in the 70's.
Well, art is art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water. And east is east and west is west, and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce, they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now, uh... Now you tell me what you know.
