This is similar to the "cartoon" Samuel Paty, the French teacher, was murdered for. He showed 2 "cartoons" in his class, one of them was about the most insulting and offensive you can imagine, calculated to cause a conflagration in French society.

He felt showing those cartoons in his class was necessary to illustrate what free speech is about. To be honest he did warn the muslim students in his class and suggested they leave so as not to have to be offended by the cartoons, but that's idiocy. You must understand the context of this video:

Muslims called over the attack of a teacher who was showing these drawings to his class (after respectfully asking Muslims to leave the class not to be offended), to remind them freedom is sovereign and to never bow down to bigots and radicals who would censor others for their own beliefs.

Nobody forces Muslims to watch caricature of the Prophet. We get it goes against their faith. Yet they literally kill people for doing a drawing of their prophet.
