Why?

AC/DC fan since the 70's. The new song is ok. They haven't released anything that has that "Power" in a long time. Guess we'll have to see what the other songs sound like. Hopefully their are some one with more punch than Shot in the Dark. And how dumb to name a song the same as one of Ozzy's most iconic.

Let's look at their albums since Razor's edge.

Rock or bust was one of their weakest albums.

Black Ice wasn't bad.

Stiff Upper Lip was ok.

Ballbreaker was pretty good.

I think it sounds much better than a lot of bands who get back together when they are geriatric. Actually, pretty damn good.

I think it maintains their standard.. not their best effort and lacks the drive of earlier material.

but yeah Brian's voice is stripped as I saw them live about 3 years ago and he couldn't sing the classics very well.

maybe they will use Brian for recordings (who knows how much electronic support is going on or overdubs here?), and Axl for live shows?

some other old groups are adding backup singers to support lead singers I am seeing as well.
