Our small town U=haul has about twelve trucks parked there, dropped off by people who have moved into town recently -- they usually have two or three trucks parked. A woman I know just moved up here from California at the beginning of the month, into a half million dollar house she bought sight unseen. I know three other families moving into town. Real estate is reasonable compared to California but all real estate has gone up out of the cities. Many move in and leave after a winter. There are millions trying to leave Kali,Portland,Seattle . If they can sell,cash out and move, they can buy in a rural area, be in a beautiful area,lower crime,lower taxes,lower cost of living and no California Government. It is a myth that the Californians that are leaving the state are all liberals. They are all coming with $$$$$$$ and that upsets the locals struggling to buy a home.What has happened in the last couple of years is everything is priced for somebody cashing out of an expensive state and buying .
