Of course nobody can openly release the laptop online because of the illegal nature of the underage content, but it sure could end up leaked at which point it is game over. It could also be a snapshot of only the important content but an image would be better because of what it would contain (logs, the registry, etc). One of the smartest thing was when Rudy turned it over to the STATE police because it means it was "logged" into evidence, it was REVIEWED by non-Federal law enforcement, and it carries with it duty to act under NH law. This is going to be very interesting -- the image drop would be the final blow. Cryptographer |
