College Station is right between Houston, Austin, and Fort Hood, all of which would be targets in a war. Maybe that is what they are alluding to? Maybe it would be where they would stage outside target areas? I didn't think Patriot had that much range. [ link to www.army-technology.com (secure)] The missile has a range of 70km and a maximum altitude greater than 24km. Houston to Austin is 165 miles. yeah, that's not going to work. .
