I don't live there, but I did spend some significant time in that area years ago. College Station is right between Houston, Austin, and Fort Hood, all of which would be targets in a war. Maybe that is what they are alluding to? Maybe it would be where they would stage outside target areas? Weird, I read this thread about several military birds up in the air around that area.
