Iran has its hooks deep into Venezuela. That is just on the South side of the gulf and wouldn't take a lot of time to send missiles to the US. Is Russia still running Cuba? China is compromising all the South American countries they can. The poorer countries are becoming indebted to China. That is too close for me. China also has been buying all the property they can in the US. Now we have learned sooo much about what China is doing to this country and the influence they have on our congress and young people. I can see interference from other places being a problem.
