Hot wings, BBQ wings, honey-mustard wings... they're so good. Quoting: Wharf Rat Then there's the thighs... Delicate, succulent dark meat. That's good flavor right there. Only, there's a lot of cartilage and tiny bones, which is fine but it's a bit of a hassle. I'm going to go with the drums -- drum-sticks -- because they combine the eatability of wings with the large amounts of dark meat found in the thighs. And I'm putting my $ where my mouth is, getting ready for the debate tonight! (Breast meat is too dry for my taste, but I admit it's good for those trying to lose weight or pack on the protein. Just not my favorite, which is the topic of this thread.) Keep on cluckin', GLP! :chicken: eating thighs is like punishment to me. if offered a thigh, my response is terse and often inappropriate. i'll eat the legs, but only for nostalgia, to avoid thighs and only in the absence of breasts and wings. wings are fun but the breat meat is what makes the chicken an appropriate choice for human consumption. if not for the breast meat of a chicken, they would be food at all. Most people don't even what that is. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 69619547 I'm a professional cook... but not a trained cook, exactly. What is the keel? Chicken breast split into three instead of two. The center with the breast bone is the keel. "Never underestimate the pain of a person. In all honesty, everyone is struggling. Just some people are better at hiding it than others." Everyone has to work out their own salvation. Life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards. |

Actually curious! Do you have any tips? Everywhere that sells fried chicken has them. Like KFC and chicken express.... Etc. At least here in texas. Never made them myself.
