I second this. China's invasion of Tibet was "illegal". China laying claim to an entire international body of water that is shared by numerous other nations is "illegal". China does "illegal" things all the time. Sometimes, fire needs to be fought with fire.

An invasion of Taiwan would be "illegal", so why should we care one bit if aiding Taiwan would also be "illegal"? If anybody calls us out on it, we'll just need to point out numerous Chinese infringements and ask them why they hold double standards that would place us at fault and not the evil dystopia that is China.
