why aren't people in China locked down. I know for a fact that they aren't and haven't been for many months now. They were locked down, brutally, for a couple months. But now they don't wear masks; kids don't wear them to go to school. I have done zoom meetings with Chinese people in china and have seen the kids interacting as guests in other people's houses. I have seen the kids and adults in a school. They are not wearing masks; their lives have returned to normal in less than 6 months. Here we are in Illinois going back to full lock downs, business closures, no gatherings. These people are screwed up! At the polling place yesterday, everyone was Trump. Today I am hearing about how Biden is ahead. How can that be? If you haven't voted Trump, just know this is how life will be until they end your life at their own whim. Choices will be a thing of the past.

Who decides if something is a "public health emergency"? Do people seriously not see a problem with giving up their freedom to the government just because that same government tells them that it's because of "an emergency"? Like that could never, ever be abused as a way to grab power?

In Il, in Will County, they cannot refuse to let you vote because you don't have a mask on. Just know that you should not show up with political t-shirts, hats, masks, etc. or they will throw you out and I mean the other voters. This stuff just fuels fires that don't need to happen at the polls. Realize your rebellion could cost votes if others aren't voting because of a problem. Also the election officials may choose to leave if problems arise. Now you have voting delays, which is a bad idea.

That is correct. Governors do not have jurisdiction over private citizens. They only have jurisdiction over functionaries of the state. Any cops enforcing “mandates” on you can be sued for acting under “color of law” and they can also be sued for any other interferences they perpetrated while their kissing the governors ass, like acting against the constitution.
