If it wasn't a loop or addictive then they could easily stop looking at it and put it down.

My nephew is 7 years old and he has like 18k followers. I downloaded the app just to see his activity... but tbh, I never opened it.

I feel like I bing watched The Brady Bunch full volume over a weekend. Every story of morality simply compacted into "another" girl twerking to black music. LOL

If only I had know that all those stories about morals could be put into one single girl twerking.

There are 2 types of narcissism, according to some videos I've watched. One stems from insecurity and needing to prove ones self, the other consists of genuine belief you're superior.

These are kids that were born in the "Everybody gets a trophy" generation. Look how fucked up they are.


The narcissism is disgusting. Honestly, it's not subtle, passive, or regulated. Completely in your face. There is no other word. Repulsive maybe?


We are building a generation that is more full of themselves than ever before but also the dumbest.

Interesting thoughts. I was thinking something along those lines on my own about that just the past couple of days. They're so all trying to do something, prove something; but it's more than that. We all did back then... but now it's almost religious or something, across the board of them. Sorry I don't have a better understanding/explanation of what I'm thinking.

They're doing something... collectively.

We were happy just listening to a Bob Seger song and trying to kiss a girl at the drive in. Of course we knew we had to impress them... sooner and later.. But this is something else.

I'm not sure we knew where it was before, back when.

In the book I am reading it said that they compared Korean and American 8th graders on their mathematic abilities. 6% of the Koreans said they were sure of their skill sets, 38% of Americans (Along those lines).

It is no surprise that the Koreans mopped the floor academically with how well they did.

The brain? Parenting? Is it fear? Fear that if we don't tell children they are the absolute definition of perfection they freak out?

What I do know is that it's horrifying. As OP stated, a religion and anyone who is not a part of it feels oddly isolated from this "normal" behavior. I know I do.

The concept of self esteem is not alien to me, but Tik Tok is. A video of someone playing music and just smiling at the camera only so that people will see how good looking they are.

Do we need another war? An economic collapse? What? What trying times must we have to set people back into reality. There must be some type of sociological recalibration.

We cannot keep going down this road.

Now the white boys are wearing buckwheat hair. The girls are all a dollar commodity. It's insane. Can't believe how easy it was to transform it so quickly.

Do kids even need to struggle anymore? Is there any healthy fight for, well - ANYTHING in their lives or are they just born at the top?

The reason why I said we need another catastrophe in some way, shape, or form is because it's as though most people have no purpose.

We have everything but nothing and it is horribly sad.

All of the attention, dopamine, likes, comments, shares, and more - but no purpose.


One of my absolute most largest fears is that this will lead to a stagnation of our world and that we will fall behind. People will ask themselves "Why would I need to discover, invent, or accomplish anything when all of the validation I need is right here?".

I keep saying "another war" to myself. My old man was in the big one. He used to say that's what we will need.

We may have kicked the can down the road back in 2001. May have been the wrong choice. Not sure we'd make it next time around.

Perhaps some globalists hoped we'd elevate our species to some futuristic kind instead, so we can colonize mars or whatever.
