I remember 15 years ago or so it really wasnt bad. After 2010 it got to the point where whole forests were mostly dead trees. Also didnt help that 2016-2018 and even 2019 were very wet years in the northern part of the state. All that underbrush dried out and built up plenty of fuel. |
