It may be realer than politics, but that's about it. lol Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78980114 Blair Witch was better. Psychological terror at its best. Anonymous Coward User ID: 79439447 United States 10/27/2020 01:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I watched the movie a few months ago and I'm still here. Quoting: StinkyKat It's boring AF, I mean, a snooze fest. A true waste of time. It will kill you - of boredom. That's funny stuff. It's entirely true, I had to try three times because I fell asleep twice. I love horror movies but Antrum just missed the mark. That said, I could see the potential. I liked the casting and I liked the lead actress. I think they were close but they focused so much on style that they forgot it's supposed to be a horror movie and left out the scares. It's also probably got to do with the fact that the found footage genre is cooked. We all know it's fake, there's no question in anyone's mind. That's a problem when you make a movie that relies on freighting people with the unknown. I think if they had made a movie set in the seventies or eighties about two kids who discovered a lost film called Antrum, it was cursed and they had to solve the mystery of it in order to survive, that would have worked. The brother could have disappeared and the sister was trying to find him to save him, something like that. It would have been a lot better than what they wound up with. |
