I was advised to folloe a very strict Keto diet, 80% fat, 12% protein, 8% carbohydrates, (not a typo, 80% fat!) because most cancers thrive on sugar. I used a Fitbit and a keto-monitoring app. to stay on track. So far, so good. All my scans have been clean. Ask your doctor if he thinks it might help you. There's also some good information online. Also, there are cancer charities that will give you a free wig or other supplies just look online, or ask your doctor/treatment center. Insurance often will pay for wigs, you may have to get a prescription for one from your doctor. Be prepared for your hair to grow out a different color or texture, at least for a little while. |
