The answer is the blood type diet. Read through some of the reviews and don't listen to the "it's pseudoscience" bullshit. Proof is in the results, it truly works and it's the easiest diet to maintain because it usually just comes down to eliminating one or two foods.

Blood type A = Mainly vegetarian and seafood with complex grains. Must eliminate all read meat and pork.

Blood type O = Thrives on high protein low carb. Must eliminate grains, especially wheat.

I did the AB plan and I got fat as fuck eating only carbs but I wasn't portioning it or weighing the food, could been the problem.

There’s no magic to losing weight. You can calculate a given person’s BMR and actual calorie usage. The studies show you can cut that by 25% and not lose muscle ... so long as protein intake remains high. There was a professor who ate a diet of Twinkies (and some vitamins) and he lost weight. It’s all about calories in vs. calories burned.

That's how we roll and he knows this but he can't stop over eating. He doesn't binge, he just eats a fuckton of high calorie dense foods like bagels and cheese, chocolate cream spread, pate. I have a bunch of prepped grilled chicken and lots of other low calorie dense foods but he chooses that other crap instead.

OP. The simplest answer is stop the sugar addiction and go on a low carb diet. No calorie counting...eat as much as you want and once you get the hang of it you can learn when an how to cheat on the meals that you normally love to eat.

After a month or two you won't even crave the stuff that gets you into trouble... potatoes, pasta, rice, bread....

Natural fruits for an occasional sweet...Stevia in some form if you need a sweetner.

You don't have to be all purist about it....just cut back, with a bit of will power, and see where it takes you.

Low carb on week days...cheat on the weekends.

When you make eating a different life style then you don't have to think about it...it is just the way it is from there on out.

He's not like blubbery out of shape fat, you can still tell he's a body builder but his muscles are making his fat protrude so he looks shapely now, with a super big ass. He keeps complaining to me about it too, this morning he was like, 210. I was like stop eating the eurocrem, I pulled out the container and half of it is gone and we just got it on Saturday. He said he only ate half a serving size, it's more like half the container. I told him he had to do some cardio today if he wants to eat lunch so he did an hour on the treadmill, it's not helping. Any suggestions on how to get him to lose this fat?

This is really good advice for people that aren't active but right now he is benching 220 lbs and needs dextrose afterwards to help with muscle recovery. I would eat just a couple raisins but he will probably eat the whole little box lol.

Fuck all these diets and this and that.. They are all fads.

Simple eat smaller portions or just twice throughout the day. Cut sugars. Quit being lazy and burn more calories than you take in.

People over complicate shit.
