Dr Bob Lutz the Spokane County Health Officer has been asked to resign. He refused. The board has decided to terminate his employment as of today. Dr Lutz wished to implement stricter mask and social distance mandates in the Spokane region which many board members felt unnecessary, and draconian, infringing upon people's rights to make health decisions for themselves, and rightly so. Because Dr Lutz sought to further impose unconstitutional mask mandates and fines, even upon exempt individuals, he has been asked to leave.
