We used touch screens here in Kansas. When we voted early, we showed up and were given a pen with a rubber end to sign in with so that no one touched the screen due to Covid. We were then given a q-tip like is used for medical testing up the nose - you know those long, long q-tips that we used to vote with on the touch screens so that we weren't touching the screen. We then printed out our results and walked them over in person to the device where we personally scanned our vote in. Too bad this wasn't implemented nationally. I know Kansas has always been big with providing ID to vote.
