You try this bullshit in my neighborhood and your granny-ass would've been yanked out of your vehicle and beaten to near death.

In a lot of the local convenience stores, hole in the wall restaurants and such ... they know me, and they always will.

They know me as a good, kind, happy person.

I want them all to be happy too, for the same reasons.

It's good that you love your country, but I hope that you are aware that there are lots of great countries, and saying that one is the best that ever existed on this earth is a bit of subjective opinion!

Excellent post.

Taking every chance I get over here, to explain to younger
acquaintances, that Suomi-Finland didn't become the best
place to live ever seen by modern man out of nothing or
for free.

And the truth about what is going on in the world, as far
as I can tell.

With a big friendly smile on my face and polite manners.

Show the immigrants why you love America.

There could very well soon be 11 million new Americans.

Show them why the USA is EXCEPTIONAL.

Cumberland County is 70% blue.

Those young adults hanging on Landis ave at 10pm on a Friday are not red or blue. They did wake up in the USA, though.

Would if make you happier if I did it in Camden? I'd buy a go pro for that.

I'd do Millville and Bridgeton too, if you want.

In Bridgeton they'd run and hide. I'd rather be more subtle so when they are legal, they'd really understand what that means.

Nowhere did I say whose "side" I'm on. (Most people know but still - there is no indication in this post, nor ANY obvious physical "tell" with me. I'm as generic as it gets.)

I'm not trying to convert people to anything but proud, engaged Americans.

I WANT these people in my area to feel the same way I do, having a dad who who fought in Vietnam and his dad and his dad ... all way back to when we came here.

I want the Jamaican/Mexican/black guy on the corner to KNOW he is safe here and he can pursue happiness ... and any time he chooses he can avail himself of the same freedoms I exercise.

I think we should all want that.

It's how we all got here.

They don't have the history. So, it's all promise.

Kumbaya and shit!

Didn't know the story. I like, thank you.

"One day a man was walking along the beach when he noticed a boy picking something up and gently throwing it into the ocean.

Approaching the boy, he asked, “What are you doing?”

The youth replied, “Throwing starfish back into the ocean. The surf is up and the tide is going out. If I don’t throw them back, they’ll die.”

“Son,” the man said, “don’t you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish? You can’t make a difference!”

After listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish, and threw it back into the surf.

Then, smiling at the man, he said…..“I made a difference for that one.”"

You sound like a cool lady.

I always beep loudly when there is a Trump gathering on the corner.

The other day there was a Biden gathering on other corner, so I made the point of backing around and going by them really slow and when they made eye contact, I put my thumbs down and drove by them all really slow, LOL, they looked so confused.

It was mostly what looked like white school teacher type, LOL, yah, know the people that know it all, but are dumber than a box of rocks.

We haven't had any of that here except the flotillas.

There were lots of boat parades at the shore. No Biden things. The teachers are too busy at the convention, lol.

I really thought Trump would flip Cumberland county, but hopes were dashed. Same old.

Other posters seem to know the demographics of the area, and they will also know that people with cars in this area are regularly in multiple counties every day just to live.

Also, it's a food desert. My pet peeve. I try to tell people it should be different.

We should look at that, Americans. We should look at ACCESS to the american dream ... actual, physical access to the tools. It would win us a lot of voters. Life is rough inside a beltway, with no grocery stores and no car. What does everyone expect these residents to think and do?

I reside just over the line in a red county where I'd have to drive an hour to get a good deal at the grocery store. I grew up in and do everything else in the neighboring blue county. I shop in puerto rican stores, buy jamaican takeout, greek, polish, italian, irish ... it's pretty jersey ... 25 miles southeast of Philly and really just as mixed up as it gets.

In any given week I'm in Cape May or Atlantic counties for something as stupid as donuts, or a high school field hockey game. I work in Camden county. I drive like a maniac. I put 30,000 miles on my new car in 9 months of normal (locked down lol) life.

NJ is like a quilt.

All these folks are hustling. All of them. They love working and capitalism. Legal or not. They probably will be legal soon. That really doesn't bother me - it would save some friends a lot of money as they have been paying for immigration lawyers for their best guys. It's complicated.

The small business owners are angry at the governor - I really thought that would flip us red - not enough.

So ... all I can do is try to impart my love onto all of them.

They will realize it.

They will come around.

USA!

We should flip this shit on its head and start really looing at things like food deserts and mass transit (because that matters!) .. just like our President did with HBCUs!

Don't punish people for the shit the other party forced them into in the past.

And I THINK (but do not know, because Cali would hate my guts and run me off) ... I think California is the same as New Jersey.

With a little administrative TLC ...

And that's what it should be ... Tender Loving Care ...

Cali and NJ could both flip red on freedom grounds.

We didn't get it this time, but we sure can. I remember the 80s and the 90s!

Don't keep punishing people because they thought wrong before because they didn't know better.

Teach them the truth.
