Alex Trebek, the longtime host of "Jeopardy," has died nearly a year and a half after his stage 4 pancreatic cancer diagnosis. He was 80.

He grew up in a little town called Creighton which was just a few minutes from the town of Walden where my Dad grew up (and me eventualy). It's on the outskirts of a city called Sudbury.

What a sad day. I've been wondering how he was doing. RIP Alex. You were a fine gentleman. The world needs more men like you.

Never was much of Jeopardy fan until the pandemic working from home, but I have been stopping every afternoon and playing along from home, so have come to appreciate him over the last months. Rest in Peace.

I’m so saddened to hear this. But so glad he’s no longer suffering and has made his escape from this increasingly messed up world.
He will be deeply missed by many. We are big time fans of Jeopardy.
