Pensilvania Ballots Returned before they were mailed. WTAF? | |
| Anonymous Coward User ID: 79386144  United States11/09/2020 01:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Anecdotal to be sure: Quoting: Philly Special Guy I work with (huge Trump supporter) lives in PA, got his mail in ballot, filled it all out and signed it, then brought it in to a polling place on election day to hand it in. The clerk took that ballot from him, handed him another blank one, told him to fill it out, sign, and put in the drop box, which he did. They never gave him his original ballot back. It's fuckery, no matter how you slice it. My guess is they took his original, filled in a couple other dots to make it "invalid", then used that to say the ballot he cast on election day was "invalid" because he had "already voted". Had a hard time finding sample ballots for both my state WI and PA. Oddly enough found a PA one through image search way down the page from the county where my ancestor whose name is my username lived 200+ years ago...samples already seem to be scrubbed from states official election sites. Here is what their procedure is for those who bring in a completed absentee ballot. They have you fill out a new one and you surrender the one you brought in to be "spoiled." In WI they had a spot for serial numbers in case of necessity to duplicate. I want to know if those serial numbers allow them to track to the voter in case of recount and or duplicate voting. |
