Why Do They Quit the Chinese Communist Party?

Since the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party was published in 2014, over 360 million people have quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations, namely, Youth League and Young Pioneers. In recent weeks, an average of around 70,000 people each week have renounced their CCP memberships.

Chinese people chose to stay away from the CCP because they have understood its vicious nature and no longer want to be held responsible when the time comes to seek justice against it for all the crimes committed against innocent people. This can be seen from the online comments below.

Testimonies from Chinese Citizens Who Have Quit the CCP
Wu Ziyou said that during the more than ten years since he joined the CCP, his support for the Party has gradually waned. As a police officer, he found himself turned into “a screw in the regime’s gigantic violence machine.” “I longed for freedom, but my work and life were controlled by the authoritarian regime. Even my breathing was heavy and cautious.”

He then listed many crimes that the CCP has committed, from forced organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners to suppressing human rights attorneys and political dissidents, and from detaining Uyghurs in mass “re-education” camps in Xinjiang, to hiding COVID-19 infection information in Wuhan, and so on.

A group of 156 residents in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province issued a joint statement, saying, “Being honest and speaking about facts is a dangerous thing in today’s China. People can be put in jail for doing that. Because the CCP is a gangster organization, it will attack you if you expose its lies or viciousness. It is a devil. It will never get better, and will instead turn people as bad as itself.” They announced wanting to quit the “devil organization” and become free of its control...
