Don't ask me for links, this is just stream of consciousness sharing from my considerable personal experience with them Studies measuring the sound frequency of a cat's purr found it to be the same frequency that BONES HEAL AT ! This explains why when I returned from the hospital after a bad car accident that left me with several broken bones my cat parked herself on my chest and purred up a storm and stayed there dutifully for my weeks of convalesense, and when my recovery had come along to the point I was more mobile, she went back to her usual perch in the corner ! This also gives credence to the old wives saying "A cat and a broken bone are not long together in the same house" Amazing benevolent creatures they are ! Dealing with the psychic realm, I have experienced lucid dreaming, clairvoyant prophetic dreaming, and spontaneous remote viewing for most of my Life, since childhood. I have found that when my Cat deigns to join me and lay close to my head when I am preparing to sleep, I have actually woken up in the "dream" to find my Cat beside me, equally conscious and telepathically communicating with me ! Why do you think the temples of Antiquity kept cats around...? It wasn't just for mousing duty, they knew the Feline energy field amplifies connection between realms... Anyhow, that is my contribution for now... Peace ! Toxo speaks Gets in bone marrow Free Kitty!! |

She's awesome. Quoting: AsKnownAs Isn't it great to have a cat like that? I had a great cat like that who was so fearless friendly and outgoing, he'd hop in the front passenger seat and ride with me to the store etc. People would do double takes, lol. Unfortunately his friendliness was his undoing... some low life creep STOLE my beloved Tom >> because he was so unafraid of Humans the creep was able to get ahold of him... so sad, that happened 8 years ago and I still think about my boy. She and I were inseparable, and she slept with me under the covers with her head on the pillow. She taught me to purr and we communicated in cat language. I eventually buried her in the yard and it was one of the most heart wrenching things I ever did. Her energy stayed around here for about 9 months and then one day she was gone. Just like that. Even now I wonder if burying her was the right thing to do. Cats are very special creatures among all of God's creatures. |

I can’t imagine living without cats Oh Honey, hugs to you, I know exactly what you mean ! My "Soul" cat passed 2 months ago ,on my Mom's birthday who passed a year earlier no less.... such a void is left ! I do have other cats but it's just not the same, I miss my special cat soooo much. She died very unexpectedly too, she was frolicking and prancing one day, and then the next day, moaning in pain, I rushed her to the vet, but she passed within an hour of me getting her home, so shocking ! The vet was largely clueless, I still don't know what caused it . I wailed mightily on that day. 2 days after her passing I saw her little ghost for a brief moment, she looked a little confused, like how come she wound up where she was so suddenly. That night I also felt her little body jump on the bed beside me as was her habit...she was saying goodbye. It's so hard when they go back to the Spirit planes when you just love their little presences so much It's never too late to be who you are. |

I buried my sweet soul companion dearest kitty in the yard too, it happened only 2 months ago and I wailed so heavily I think I ripped a hole in the Time Space continuum , seriously, it was that strong, so I know just what you mean when you say heart wrenching. As I was bathing and perfuming her body before burial, I cut off one of her claws with a small piece of the paw pad and fur attached, for posterity.
