The "win" is like progress...it feels off to keep it a word that is finite - like it is an end. Many generals through time remarked nothing is worse than a victory. For a reason. Enslavement in a Orwellian System comes to mind. But yeah - the price... If only fighting was to protect, not for economic or power gain.
