That’s very flattering, thank you. However, I’m no Neo, and you’re not Morpheus! We’re just a couple of regular guys trying to figure things out.

I, too, am amazed that my dreams are progressive in nature. I am not “willing” them to occur. They do so on their own. As my subconscious Mind learns to not feel Fear, I unconsciously apply that to my daily life and activities. It seems as I apply it to my physically conscious life, my subconscious is also being affected. It seems the Conscious Mind and the Subconscious Mind are aiding one another and helping the other to become stronger.

Now that I have this conscious awareness of the fact I can simply “switch off” Fear (after several years of practice), my subconscious Mind is remembering it as well, and I am simply “switching it off” in my dreams. As I continue to control Fear and not feel it, my abilities are naturally improving and increasing.

It’s pretty cool! But it’s surprising, because I’m not “willing” these dreams to occur. They’re just occurring on their own.

No, I do not maintain a dream journal.

So, I was going to wait on this, but I may as well put it out there....

I actually had my first out-of-body astral travel experience a couple mornings ago.

For about a week, I’ve been using the techniques outlined in one of the books I’m reading. No success, but he emphasizes not to force it. If it happens, great, but if it doesn’t, that’s okay too.

I had awakened at about 4am and I was in that state in which a person is still conscious, but right at the edge of the dream state where you quickly slip into unconsciousness.

I cycled through several exercises to separate from my body, but no success. After a few minutes I decided to just let it go, but I decided to do something different instead of just slipping into the dream state.

When I go to sleep each night, there is a moment right at the very precipice of consciousness and unconsciousness in which my Mind is suddenly swarmed with images and voices. Many times the voices are so loud they often jolt me back into full consciousness. But they’re always there, right in that thin line that separates the waking state and the dream state.

This time, I decided to “play” with that thin line and see how long I could ride it.... just barely conscious and awake, and the instant I feel myself “slide” into the unconscious dream state, right at that instant, I mentally “pull back” so my Mind is just on the very edge of the awake state.

....slipping, slipping... into the dream state... suddenly voices are talking loudly and there are images.... PULL BACK! ... now I’m awake, but I only pull back just enough to be just outside of the dream state... right on the edge, not fully awake. Then I start to feel the slide again.... slipping ... slipping... the voices again... images... at that split second as I’m falling into unconsciousness, I pull back into consciousness.... slightly awake.

It was kind of fun playing this game with my Mind.

Then I decided to take it a step further and actually hold on to the imagery my Mind was presenting, and actually examine it in detail.

All my life I’ve just passively observed the images in that “in between” state of consciousness and unconsciousness, but never really seizing them and holding onto them to closely examine.

This time I decided to try it.

As the images popped into my head and the voices started barking statements, I pulled back into consciousness but held onto the image and looked at it closely, looking at every detail.

At one point, I was suddenly presented with a stagecoach and horse. I pulled back out of the dream state and held that image, looking at the wooden wheels, the grain of the wood, the color, the metal around the outside of the wheel, then suddenly the voices barked and I realized I was slipping into unconsciousness again, so I pulled back... awake... just on the edge of dream state... another image forms... I’m walking on a compacted dirt path, trees to my right, a high stone wall to my left... the voices... I pull back! Now I’m examining the stone wall, touching it, feeling the wetness on the stones, the texture, the pits and divets—

Suddenly I’m feeling my astral body pull right out of the top of my head!!

I snap back to waking consciousness, and I’m realizing I’m “sliding” out of my body! I remember thinking, “Oh my god! This is really happening!” I quickly slid right out of the top of my shoulders and head, still in a lying position, face up, right though the wall behind my headboard, right outside the house! I slightly tilted up into a full upright position, continuing upward about 10 feet off the ground, facing my bedroom windows. I mentally stopped myself in that position and began to feel panicky. In that instant, I suppressed the Fear and mentally said to myself, “I’m okay. I’ve done this many times before. My body is okay, I’m okay, this is fine. I’ve done this many times” (in my dreams).

I simply “hung” there in the air for a few seconds, feeling exhilaration that I was actually experiencing being out of body.

At that moment, I decided “I’m not going to stay here. I have lots of time to practice. I’m not going to go to exploring. I’m just going to quickly fly, then return to my body”.

Now HERE is where all those dreams of progressively controlling my flying paid off!

Since I have flown so many times in my dreams and I have learned to control it, I “laid down” in my astral body, leaning my head back, leaning my body back in a horizontal position, hands folded across my stomach, legs and feet straight out, and I simply BLASTED straight back! It felt like I was a bullet going 1,000 mph! Everything was a massive blur as I sped backward, headfirst, with NO fear or apprehension. After just a couple seconds I came to a full stop, feeling a sense of incredible satisfaction, a huge smile on my face. I then simply “thought” to return to my body and I was instantly back in it. I opened my eyes and I appeared to be enveloped in a blue aura. I saw my blankets and the room, but wanted to ensure I was in fact back in my body. I turned to my right and looked at my sleeping wife, her face lit up from the blue aura I was in, and I said, “Honey?”... the blue suddenly faded to gray, then dark, and everything was back to normal.

I was thrilled!

I simply laid there in bed, a big smile on my face, and a sense of accomplishment and deep satisfaction.

“I did it! I really did it!”, I thought to myself.

Then I let myself slip into unconsciousness and slept.

.....

No, I did not dream this. It was absolutely REAL. It happened.

I will continue my studies on astral travel and I will continue to practice.

There are many realities in the nether regions, but much is in the domain of “imitators of the light”. Imitators take what is true but twist it just enough to hook a person with the truth, but poison them with the following lie. Love is one example. We always are led by love, but some loves lead us to death of soul, not life, so “loving” isn’t the only criterion in life. Truth is important too. Reincarnation is one of those “twists”. Though all things are accounted for & judged by God, a works oriented religion leads us to believe in something like reincarnation, but a grace based religion like Christianity does not deny the affects of actions, but the “repeats” needed were taken on by Christ, making future “works” unnecessary if we take him on. This includes having our sins “paid for” by him instead of us continually trying to “make good”. My advice: stay out of these nether regions where deception is commonplace & remain in this life embedded into Christ & the cycling of lives will stop as all the work has already been done by him. And when you but ask Him for help you receive the work that he has done for you.

Also it's clearly mentioned in the bible that Satan and his demons were imprisoned here by the angels. I believe this world is hell and we are forced to reincarnate over again. The bible even confirms it. We should use that to explain to them this.
