Anybody else here ever felt them prodding the base of your spine? I've woken up with the same area of my spine very sore and a sensation of an intense indian burn on my arm and my chest hurting (as if something was pushing/sitting down on me); at one time I heard a low growl in half asleep mode (more awake than asleep).

I suffer from hypnic jerks or hypnagogic jerks all night.

I become aware while sleeping that it is about to happen. Feels like energy building up in my limbs. I try to figure out where it starts but it always happens so fast ... I've been able to arrest it here and there by rolling over when I realize it's about to happen ... but usually it happens so fast ...

I feel an awful dread and then my whole body snaps like I'm doing "the worm". It all feels like it converges in my lower back, which is the worst part of the snapping feeling, and it ends there.

I wake up sore in my lower back.

Sometimes it makes me cry immediately and I think ... "why am I crying in my sleep?" When I say cry I mean weep.

I hate the feeling.

There was a thread here in 2005 ... I participated in it in real time ... and the person posting claimed to be an "insider".

This "insider" had some pretty profound and life changing ideas, but was never explicit and only answered questions as asked, very guarded and cryptic but seemingly genuine and ... "insider" never really said anything that could be debunked (due to the style of the responses). It was a weird thing. I studied that thread and memorized it like it was dogma, and I still haven't found any flaw in insider's logic/thinking/answers ...

Hard to explain that but anyway, people who remember insider will understand ... there's nothing in OP's theory that contradicts that thread in any way. That thread never mentions anything about dreamtime being the afterlife ... there are hardly any mentions of dreams ...

but if this is true, the insider stuff makes even more sense.

OK so the original thread got "hacked" sometime after it happened.

But someone managed to compile the direct responses into a pdf (i don't know why only the direct respinses and not all). It's called "revelations of an elite family insider" and is in a couple places if you google that phrase. It's like a 25 page pdf.

It's flawed because ... one of the most important things about insider was the questions he or she DIDn'T answer ... insider stated that he or she would only answer questions that were relevant, and that he or she was allowed to answer

my own questions were ignored in real time (they were definitely relevant), which makes me even more into this particular line of thinking
