Has anybody mentioned the plot of "The Good Place"? TV show just on with Ted Danson as your "counselor" and the Veronica Mars chick as a human who seems good but really isn't very.
Then there's Gnosticism as a word source.
Then there dystopian scifi and hero adventures. My favorites were Dancers at the End Of Time by Morecock and Nine Princes in Amber by Zelazny. Startreck Discovery seems like it would be a good source material place too. The human imagination is Cross Referenced and VAShT.
