So Jesus was a liar then, when his last words on the cross were: "All has been paid in full"?
Quoting: Tekunda Beside reading from a bible, how do you know Jesus said those words? Isn't it all blind faith, not something you witness yourself or direct conversation with Jesus? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73896965 But believing in reincarnation is not blind faith, because you have proof! OH wait, your proof is some weird stories of people who claim they were Princess of Persia and Queens of Egypt in their former lifes. Quoting: Tekunda Irrelevant because Jesus did not say “all has been paid in full”. It’s not in the Bible nor in any other holy book that I know of. Even if some psychic channeler has claimed that those were Jesus’ last words, there is no reason to assume life really works that way nor that a man/god sacrificing his life and claiming it absolves mankind from responsibility for how they lived their lives has any authority or power to make that happen. “Reincarnation” so called is spirit obsession, possession, or attachment by spirits of dead people to the bodies of living people and calling themselves reincarnated, sometimes even driving out the original spirit that belongs with that body. Quoting: 3643297 Meaning of “It is finished” as Tetelestai "It is finished" is the English translation of the Greek word Tetelestai, which was the last thing Jesus' said before dying on the cross. Tetelestai comes from the verb teleo, which means "to bring to an end, to complete, to accomplish." It's a crucial word because it signifies the successful end to a particular course of action. It's the word you would use when you climb to the peak of Mt. Everest; it's the word you would use when you turn in the final copy of your dissertation; it's the word you would use when you make the final payment on your new car; it's the word you use when you cross the finish line of your first 10K run. The word means more than just "I survived." It means "I did exactly what I set out to do." (copied from [ link to www.christianity.com (secure)]
