holy living isn't done to achieve a "way out" it is done to transform a person from the inside out. It's building a habit similar to goals in diet, life, etc. The exit happens upon death. It is a life lived with a clear conscience that does not fear death. What is your opinion of dying and then actually finding a "hole" in the prison system? So what about the people who have escaped upon death? We can't exactly go crawl into the hole they have escaped from, interview them, and then return back to this realm to report it. I have never died in my memory. Have you died? How can anyone know unless they have truly died and seen it for themselves. There would need to be evidence of some sort

The Bardo texts (“the Tibetan Book of the Dead”) say that even if you have an lot of emotional & psychological obscurations, or karma-vipaka if you will, you can still attain liberation during the death process. Dzogchen doesn’t talk about having to come back to “earth-school” to work out karma through life lessons as the archons are purported to say.

This is why Dzogchen is a ‘short cut’ compared to other Buddhist teachings, because liberation isn’t only about resolving emotional & psychological obscurations (however these naturally begin to dissolve by themselves via the Dzogchen methods); it’s also about preparing for death so that when the death process begins, you know what to look for, and if you recognize it, whatever emotional & psychological obscurations you’re still carrying within will dissolve all at once in the Bardo, and you attain total liberation right then and there.
