One of many other events organized to fight racism against chinese people in Italy.
(A Chinese guy did the same too in Florence).

During that period, many politics too decided to take part in similar iniziatives.
Mayor of Rome, for example, publicly went for lunch in one of the most-known chinese restaurant in the city.

If the advice is still not to go to China for fear of contracting the coronavirus, now comes the response from Beijing after the cases registered in Italy. And so about twenty young Chinese snwoboard nationals left the hotels in the city where they were staying and eating early to return to France from where they started. Evidently the country beyond the Alps is considered safer than Italy, so much so that the stay in the Trentino mountains where the very young boys were training is closed in advance. It was the team coach who informed the owners of the two hotels that the Chinese authorities had arranged to leave our country.


In less than a month the narrative changed and was completely flipped.
Italian people were not considered racist anymore... We were considered as possible virus spreader by the Chinese community.
