We Got Covid Survival down, Now Let’s Talk Power Grid issues....
GLP helped us during the big Atlanta ice storm several years back with survival gear advice,
Thank you GLP.

We were well prepared for Covid in the house.

Now the power grid hit is trending here recently, so what are things we should have? This seems much more complicated than the two mentioned above.
Faraday cage? Is that useless?

Any input or list of to dos?

As many propane tanks as possible filled and a grill. Kerosene lamps and heaters with some fuel. Jet fuel or kerosene. Fireplace ? Have wood ready. Generator?

the recent buzz is about hackers shutting down the grid, and I did not see anything about an EMP. no Faraday cage required for that.

Not sure the USA can survive a month or longer without electricity.
