If water is no longer supplied, how can you stop your house from burning down. Food - check, water for drinking - check (to a degree), protection for family - check, medicines - check, firewood - check, generator - check (but that would only last a minimal amount of time). Our neighbors installed a whole house natural gas generator - wise, but even the natural gas could be cut off.) IT is the water to concerns me most. Almost forgot - trash bags for BM's & trash. You can hardly dig a hole in the winter time; although I guess it might be a good idea to sink a couple now.
