Unlimited aftermarket support for both is a plus 22LR, 960 Rowland, 356TSW conversions are available for other ammo. I guess that one should maybe consider a 45acp, 10mm, or 40S&W Glock in order to have more caliper conversion choices. [link to www.glockforum.com (secure)] |

Parts are everywhere and can be field stripped in seconds, literally seconds. On compact and subcompact glock, just make sure you fire lower grain bullets. Like 124g for a 9mm or 165g for a .40 s&w. For short barrel semi-autos, the lighter bullet will have a bit less recoil and be more reliable. Who gives a fuck if they aren't as pretty as a sig, LMFAO! Hornady +p 115 gr Federal SJHP 138 gr That's all I have other than the range stuff. I'm leaning towards the Glock 19 for all of the reasons that you mentioned. We can only get the Gen 3 in CA. Why can you only get the Gen 3 that’s insane! Can you at least get a custom trigger bar for the gen 3 so it’s more like the 4 or 5 trigger?!?!? You can work on the trigger but the Gen 3 is the only one on our fucking 'approved list". DEDEDEDE |

But by all means, buy the "prettiest" one you can find. Make sure its real shiny, too. Quoting: Zoinkaeon I never said that I was looking for a good looking pistol. I don't know how they do it but the inventory was incredible. They has almost everything in stock. No mark up. I asked the owner how he does it, he just told me that he works hard. The Cabela's in Boise had nothing but empty shelves. DEDEDEDE |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 20141737 M&P 2.0 compact with the 3.6 inch barrel is nice too. Same exact size as a Glock 19 but feels way more comfortable in the hand. I wanna also add to this that you should highly consider stepping up to a .40 caliber instead of 9mm. The recoil isn’t as bad as some people claim it is. It’s really not much different than 9mm with the right gun. It’s not much different than 9mm at all. The biggest difference is you should have a lot easier time finding .40 ammo rather than 9mm. 9mm has been perpetually cleaned out in my area for months now. You can also buy a .357 sig barrel for it and swap it out so you have much more ammo variety you can buy. From what I’ve read and what people tell me, .40 is also cheaper than 9mm right now too for some odd reason. Don’t bother getting a 9mm right now unless Trump wins his lawsuits proving election fraud. If you can’t find ammo then it’s just an expensive paperweight. |

Sorry bud but you're wrong, wrong, wrong. Its about matching the recoil spring pressure with the rounds you are shooting. Example...I use a 17lb recoil spring, 8lb firing pin spring, shooting 147gr spx rounds and have 0 acquisition time on target with split second reaction, and dead on accuracy. If i use fmj rd @ 115 grain my aquisition of target jumps by at least 2 inches or 1-2 sec.. So, i must take the recoil down to 11-13lbs to compensate. It takes practice and adjustments but its a hell of alot safer than carrying around a dirty harry cannon when your life is on the line! |
