So I got a jury summons, any Louisiana Attorney’s here?

You probably will not even have to go. Many cases are being settled before they even go to court, probably due to covid-19.

Throw the summons in the garbage like a real man.

You could say that you have been in close contact with someone who has the virus. That might buy you some time.

I work with attorneys in the New Orleans area. You will have to wear the mask to enter the building.

Did you see the story out of Montana back in August? A judge held juror in contempt and sent to prison for refusing to wear a mask in court ... and apparently juror was *civil* while trying to explain - saying he had trouble breathing with a mask - but had no specific medical condition.

There was a big Covid outbreak at the prison just hours later. Gotta be careful, you never know how a judge might react. Good Luck!

What jury duty notice?

i have written addressee moved/left no forwarding address twice over the years, once for myself and once for my daughter who was away at college getting brainwashed by the libs.

I was called for Jury Duty about 2 years ago. They interviewed me and I let them have it. Showed them the flaw in the system of how circumstantial evidence can convict a person. Told them a person is innocent until proven guilty...

They thought I was working for the defense, which I was not...

As a result, they have never contacted me for jury duty...

I'd apply the same principle and you'd get off serving...

i never opened the envelopes, just wrote on them and sent them back w/ the mailman.

With so much mail being dumped in the trash and in ditches, you probably never even got the letter in the first place.
