OP = Original post, original poster. It's the first post of a thread, but more commonly refers to the Original Poster him/herself. In this case, the OP of this thread is you.

AC = Anonymous Cowards, they're the unregistered posters to make up about half of the traffic on the site, maybe more. (Note: right now AC posting has been turned off, but usually you'll see a lot of AC's.)

OG = A long time registered member, stands for Original Gangster, a phrase borrowed from the hip-hop world. On GLP these days I'd say if your account is more than 5 years old you could be considered an OG. More than ten years almost definitely

PIN = aka Pine(s), refers to a thread being tacked up at the top of the main page. Red pinned threads are chosen by the Mods (forum moderators, by and large great people), and the Green pins are "karma pinned": if you have enough green/good karma you can pin your own thread or somebody else's, if they deserve it
