Took the Wife to the Hospital ER last night..Amid a covid 'SPIKE' in Houston

Good to know! I was wondering when someone would get eyes on the claim about Houston! Now we just need to get pics of the hospital in El Paso where the prisoners are moving bodies! I suspect they are just sending all the coroners work to one place while they are on vaycay.

was in down town ft worth a few months ago..downtown was shut down. Nothing open except the thai place I like. All the bars were closed.

Step-Sister is an ER nurse in West Jordan, Utah and works at the University Hospital in SLC....she said it's as empty as she's ever seen it because people are "afraid" to get any procedures done due to the fact that they will get tested for COVID.....

Cousin is a Heart Surgeon in Idaho Falls, Idaho.....same thing there....He said they are being threatened if they don't comply with the " narrative"

And my sister lives in Colorado....Denver to be exact....and she works for a PPE supplier and told us yesterday they have storage units full of ventilators, masks, gloves, etc. that haven't been touched since July....

There is no COVID crisis.....

This is all a manufactured SCARE event.....

Yes and no. Depends on how old or sick you are or if you live in a world of confusion where falling off a ladder kills you but it says coronavirus on your death certificate.

If you don't mind me asking...? just what are hospitals doing for gallstones these days? Is your wife OK and what did they prescribe?

right now she is medicated for it with anti-nausea and low dose pain meds. She has to go on low fat low carb diet (south beach) and consult a GI. If diet doesn't alleviate it surgery may be necessary..It is done via arthroscopy..3 small incsions..in and out in 5 hrs or so..4-5 day recovery. We will see and thanks

So all the people saying that ICU's are near capacity are full of it, then?

A week or so back, there was a thread where Glp people who said they worked in health care were at odds about spikes. Some were saying there were spikes but not due to Covid, just people who had put off needed procedures too long. Others were saying that there was something else causing spikes, like a weird clotting issue in mostly 30 and 40 somethings.

My friends that used to work at hospitals have gone into private practices so I don't have a direct line any more.

Hi, thanks for the update. Several of my family members had their gall bladder removed, it was relatively simple procedure due to the arthroscopic tools.

my pleasure..very painful deal but overall not life threatening and if they go the surgery route, should be in and out and me cooking her some nice healthy meals for a few days for her

I was in LV for the past month, my dad had surgery. They refused to test him stating his age made his COVID presumed and stuck him in the COVID side of the hospital. He was transferred to a COVID free nursing home without any testing. He is 83 years old. It was so weird!!

Hardly anyone at Valley Hospital in LV, or St. Thomas More Hospital in Canon City, or Parkview hospital in Pueblo. All very quiet.

and of course you saw everything in the hospital while sitting in the waiting area ...

and of course you know better..that's pure alinsky bullshit op..when you can't provide facts to refute a claim..be dismissive of it...I was there..the place was a ghost town.

isn't it weird how people who are sitting at home on their PC even in another country "know more" than you do about the on the ground situations here simply because they read a thread on reddit about it, even though you actually WENT to a hospital and saw it for yourself?

OP, Have a look into Apple Cider Vinegar for gallstones.

Doc was right about bad germs being in the hospital - but thats things like mersa and staph....

My wife works at a major hospital in Los Angeles - place is empty. Docs are a joke and are just playing doctor..

thank you I will..she's sort of a fussy eater anyway..doesn't like fish..I LOVE all seafood..so..if this helps her maybe I won't have to eat lawn clippings and soy cubes for the next year.

There are sights to check wait times a local ERs.Someone was posting local hospitals and wait times were just minutes at several.

she was seen within 2 minutes and in a room 5 minutes later. There was NOBODY THERE

I have 3 family members that currently work at 3 different hospitals in Florida...they all say it's either business as usual or that it's slower than usual.

my best friends wife is a nurse and was laid off for 5 months during the 'height' of the pandemic...ummmok..

Did you go to the emergency room? Is that where you think the Covid patients are? They are separated and taken strait to ICU usually pllative care ICU which in most hospitals are on the upper floors. Obviously the covid patients aren't on display for all to see and be contaminated. I've been in the hospital 2 times in the last 4 weeks for a total of 6 days with heart problems. I know an ICU nurse and know our Covid wing is fu and all 14 vents are in use. They were on the 12th floor. I was in the emergency room. Telemetry. Post op operating room and finally on the 6th floor ICU. I didnt see a single covid patient either....which I am grateful for.
