If you don't mind me asking...? just what are hospitals doing for gallstones these days? Is your wife OK and what did they prescribe?
Quoting: Ahmyo right now she is medicated for it with anti-nausea and low dose pain meds. She has to go on low fat low carb diet (south beach) and consult a GI. If diet doesn't alleviate it surgery may be necessary..It is done via arthroscopy..3 small incsions..in and out in 5 hrs or so..4-5 day recovery. We will see and thanks Hi, thanks for the update. Several of my family members had their gall bladder removed, it was relatively simple procedure due to the arthroscopic tools. She needs to eat low FAT. Eating fatty foods with gallstones will set off attacks.
