The people who founded the United States were activists. The women who fought for the right to vote were activists. These people are held in high esteem. I'm going to watch MSM news tonight to see how they portray the drug cost reduction initiatives that was announced today. My expectation is that it will be sidelined by something else and then picked up again later as something that Biden implemented. Or some other orange man bad and can't do anything good nonsense. It'll be interesting.

There is an agenda at work and 'journalists' are clearly doing their part to implement it. Activist in this case is not an honorable adjective.

edit: In high school I had a teacher that thought that I would make a good journalist so I received special attention to that end. I was taught "Thou shalt not editorialize in a report, that is saved for editorials." To watch a report where it is clear that opinion is being given galls me. I don't like it in CNN reports, I don't like it in NewsMax reports. But it is endemic.

Was watching CBS Evening News and, sure enough, they buried the prescription drug cost reduction initiative into two words in a larger report touting how President Trump slipped and said that Biden won.

Edit: To elaborate on how I was trained, you would present the facts as they were given. MSM news is dishonest in nearly every aspect these days. I became disillusioned almost 30 years ago when I saw an article in a newspaper about midwives. I was intimately familiar with the people in the article but nothing in the article was true except for the message that was desired. In short, they lied.

Ever since, my eyes have been open to how the MSM news manipulates the stories that we see. It's easy to just accept what you are given but I know that deeper inspection is needed to get to the truth.
