Dude...Mom will be 93 years old, if she makes it to her next
birthday.

Why the heck wouldn't I go see her, hug her and tell her I
love her? What else has she got anymore, in this world, but
the love and affection of her offspring?

She's a real human, you know, from way waaay tougher times.
She knows and accepts that life is perilous; one might die.
