Explain your concerns. Then ask them. Let them make the call.
So many of the elderly have died in isolation. Or are dying inside because they're isolated.
Everyone's got a different point of view - a different set of values. Let them make the risk assessment, apply their values (i.e. what is important to them), and let them choose.
