All my friends were atheists in the past, and they still are. I understand your wish of sharing your faith and belief with your close ones. It's very natural.

While simultaneously arguing internally with:

"Jesus hated gay people, which makes him probably not real. Therefore conservative Christian people are sick"

Religion or non-religion is a personal belief. Why must you know if everyone believes as you do? That tells me you aren't sure of your own beliefs. If you were, you wouldn't need to know how everyone else believes.

You must be young, under 25. As you age, your beliefs change. Some get stronger, some fade away. Life has a way of changing your perception of things once you are old enough to see a difference, usually in your mid-40s. You won't believe that now until it subtly happens to you and you then become aware of it.

Some of you guys that always think the Bible is completely open for a sophomoric, vanilla interpretation should consider this comment Jesus said:

"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth."

I'm only saying parts of the Bible such as this make me evaluate my own level of commitment and daily behaviors.

Hello OP. It is always nice to have one's own beliefs confirmed by another, especially close friends and family, because we feel that they are a witness to our lives and experiences, and thus they understand us and the feeling of support and intimacy is greater for us. Thus we feel more stable.

However, we cannot force others - whether family and friends, or whether they are strangers - to follow our particular path. Simply asking someone to "believe" something which one personally supports will not make for true understanding in others, or for true assimilation of a new behaviour.

Christed individuals who have appeared on this earth, of which Jesus is one, have done so to uplift humanity, to show them that there is another way to live, to show them that everyone should be loved and respected, to show them that we are all on a spiritual path, to show that the Divine is within us, and that we are all "sons of God".

Other people will only believe this / adopt this if they actually SEE SOMEONE ACTING IN THIS WAY. Thus the answer to your dilemma is to BE LIKE JESUS AND ACT IN A GODLY MANNER ALWAYS. Then they will come to you of their own accord and ask HOW TO BECOME THE SAME. All the best to you on your path, Colour Crusader.

yes. often it is hard to share the gospel and share the truh of GOD's word with others, family in particular because a large part of it boils down to telling others that they are wrong. that what they think is wrong, what they support is wrong and goes against the bible.

like abortion. its wrong period. gay marriage is wrong and goes against what the bible teach, etc.....
many are so set in their liberal ways that they cannot admit that they are sinners or that what they support//believe is sinful.

they reject salvation for lies, because its easier, they refuse to read or study the bible and instead read materials that "tickle the ears" and supports the narritive of "if it feels good or sounds good it must be ok". or even worse that "all roads/paths lead to the same place, same GOD".....which of course isn't truth.

There are also many new-age cults like the urantia cult and others that are thinly disguised as "christian" but when you read what they really are about, you see that its just more new age blather with a twist.

In today's world this is all stemming from Aleister Crowley's teachings when he's saying "You are all stars!" and "do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law", but most people don't even know that today's programmings and engineering was born from his teachings.

Because "the greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist" and now with ego's the amount of satan itself, people think they are better than God, hell, they believe they are gods themselves.

99%, an atheist would believe and convert to a new age bullshit rather than believing in the one true God. I've seen the examples a lot.

The painter, who has a tremendous passion for his craft, meticulously describes to every one of them how he selects the paper, the brushes, and his creative method used to do the paintings. Many left the store quickly.

Amazed with the skill of the painter, he began to ask the painter what type of paper he used, the kind of brushes he used, and the inspiration of his creativity. They both sat for many hours having a wonderful discussion. The young fisherman went back to the store many more times to learn from the gifted painter. Immensely inspired, he too became passionate to paint.

OP, perhaps you don't need to preach to every single person about God. When you have good intentions and are a true believer of God, God knows and will guide you through heightened synchronicity and intuition as to when and who will need your service.

In the meantime, just be a walking example of calm and inner peace from knowing God, not just in peaceful and happy times, but especially in difficult and chaotic times. Eventually those who are hurting will come to you wanting to know what makes you stay calm and peaceful in tumultuous times ... then you can unleash your passion and let them know about the immense love of God.

If you are sincere to assist humanity become kinder and more benevolent, you will never get tired because God's energy will flow through you to accomplish your passion.
