So last night, some poor nobody got very very rich.
He has been selected as a compromise by two opposing factions to serve as the 3rd none aligned objective party mediating between the two factions.
That nobody isn't happy about getting all that money, no, he now has a huge responsibility of coming up with the best course of action that would satisfy everyone on Earth, if he stumbles, his sins will be exposed.
But we can always trust on the manipulative character of humans to come to a silent agreement wherein they all agree to promote a lie.
A lie that will keep this ship from sinking, and that's ok.
It is better our sins to be hidden behind a lie, we all have a stake in this.

Because living without sin is impossible The cosmic balance will balance itself through you. You'd be presented with a choice, to have your darkest sins come to light. In that moment you will choose the path of not having your sins exposed while keeping the flow of sustenance (currency food in fridges), which would be a compromise between you and all other parties involved.
