There was a thread on here the other day, saying that this was happening to ALL heads of state, including Trump, Macron, etc. They are all now "politician." I don't do FB so I can't confirm, but you could maybe check other known world leaders. Hmm. Trump remains as Political candidate, though? Hmm, indeed. At the very least, he's still POTUS for 2 more months. That means he should at least be listed as politician, if this is their pattern or policy. "Political candidate" implies NOT yet in any office.
