Why do you think words in a book will save you?

Your intentions are Nobel, and your heart is in the right place, but
how do you think you can “save souls”? You can teach, inspire, and motivate others, but you cannot do someone else’s spiritual work
for them. Real, true, and lasting transformation comes from within, and is
between the soul and it’s creator.

I would say the mission is to offer the information to assist individuals in transforming within and becoming one with the kingdom of heaven inside of them.

Jesus did say it isn’t in the sky or there or here. It’s inside of you!

The news had a high priest mediator. Jesus is the high priest. The Holy Spirit is also a mediator. For us. Christianity is monotheistic. The three are one. If you have one you have all three

What saves you is God. Coming alive inside of you.

It is a real knowing. A trust.

It doesn’t matter how often you quote scripture. How many passages you can recite. What verses you can debate with others.

Why do you search scripture for eternal life?

JESUS CHRIST is eternal life.

Yes reading the Bible can better you. Of course. There’s some good wisdom. And the Bible does contain the four gospel entries of the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. But then again so do like 80 plus other gospels .

My point is why do you search for life in words on a page when the life you seek is inside of you?

Why do you cling to pages in a book when Gods presence is already there with you?

Why are you so afraid to actually know God?

It’s very easy for Christians today to make the Bible an idol in their life. And an idol doesn’t mean something you look up to. It means something that hinders and disconnects you from God. Every second every day you have a choice to make. Do you choose life or death. If something is hindering your choices from making the GOD CHOICE, this is an idol.

So God might be inside of you like yo yo yo I’m trying to tell you something teach you something. But you so stubborn you cling to dead words in a book instead of the source and fountain of life inside of you.

I leave you with 3 more statements.

John in his gospel said if all the teachings and miracles of Jesus were written down not enough books in the world could hold them.

The Bible says ALL scripture can teach a man about God. And better a man walk with God while on earth.

Jesus in the gospels revealed more teachings to his disciples.

Yes for sure and also what’s great about the written word is if you take a break for a little and live life and then read stuff it takes on even newer meaning.

My point with this thread is that Jesus is our leader and our salvation. He loves And lives and resides within us. Words in a book can only get you so far . Jesus within takes you past the finish line!

It’s completely up to God to reveal himself to you.
