Re: 3rd Circuit court to hear Trump Case
Up until now both sides have been spitballing about this and that. It's over, it's not over, he's bombed in Court he's got the appeal process etc.

Well my take now has changed.

Getting a "friendly" judge or justice to review the case(s) is a possible game changer. Legal experts have NO idea where this ends. Nobody knows. Exciting things are about to happen, I can feel it coming in the air tonight!

FYI the Michigan board of canvassing is meeting now. I cannot find a link to it but welcome anyone to post it if you can.

From the Detroit Free Press less than 50%

"All eyes will be on the State of Michigan as the Board of State Canvassers is scheduled to meet remotely at 1 p.m. Monday to certify the state's presidential election results.

But, for what is believed would be the first time in history, Michigan's elections board could deadlock on certifying the results."

UPDATE....

I found it if you want to watch! Getting heated!!

So, if Alito decides to not kick this up to the SCOTUS, is he a confirmed Traitor/Biden-Communist/Satan ?

This was done to prevent it from going to the Supreme court...its a great thing

?????? Isn't that the whole point of this circus, to get it in front of the SCOTUS? Who would want to PREVENT it, and why? (well, besides the usual suspects, but they wouldn't have let it go this far if they could have squashed it earlier)
 Quoting: Eggcellently Deplorable

Not necessarily. My understanding is it doesn't even need to go to the SC, with all these circuit court reassignments. All we need is enough circuit court rulings to decertify enough states such that no one can get 270 votes in the EC. Then it goes to Congress for a guaranteed Trump win.

Dems can appeal the circuit court rulings but that opens them to discovery, so...

The way the courts work is like this:

A decision made by each court is only applicable to the region or area that that court has jurisdiction.
So a federal district court opinions only apply to that district.
A Circuit Court of Appeals decision only applies to those states that it has jurisdiction over.
A single supreme court justice opinion about things that apply to the Circuit courts that they have jurisdiction over also only applies to those same states.

The full Supreme court meets together to decide matters that affect all of the country.

If Alito makes a decision about an election over a state that he has jurisdiction over, then it is a Supreme Court decision with full force. The other Justices have to just live with it.

Hence the shake up with the redistricting of the courts in recent days. The Court decides among themselves what Circuit courts each justice has jurisdiction over.

They obviously moved things around so that only strong constitutionalists have jurisdiction over those battleground states.

The Conservative majority overrode the minority and took those states for themselves to decide the voting issues. In other words, they did not trust the minority to make decisions based on the law.

So it all means that any decisions as to the election in those states will be decided by one Justice.

All they have to do is challenge the Non Legislative approval of changes to the voting rules made prior to the election and the SJC WILL RULE FOR THE PLAINTIFF!

DO Y'ALL get it. Unauthorized public officials CHANGED THE RULES! They didn't have the right to do so.

The Supremes don't give a damn about votes recieved! They care about the LEGAL PROCESS.

Pennsylvania fucked up bigtime!

I assume this is related to late ballots that these unofficial officials changed the riles to allow.

So if these changes are rescinded, are there actually enough votes to be thrown out to make any difference.

If what you are saying is true, this particular hearing is not about fraud then.

well right now it's Nothing News. where's the link?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79676125

So you might have heard the Pennsylvania Supreme Court just ruled against Trump's lawsuit. All 5 Democrat justices said observers had a right to be in the room, not the right to actually observe. The 2 Republican justices dissented.

Are you ready to go down a rabbit hole?
2/ Three of the Democrat justices were elected in 2015 in a campaign that set a national spending record in a Supreme Court race.

The three justices  - Kevin Dougherty, David Wecht and Christine Donahue  - raised $3.98 million, $2.88 million and $1.95 million respectively.
3/ Where did the money come from? Here's a clue.

I found this in a blog post by Democracy Alliance, the powerful left-wing group founded by George Soros.

"In 2015, (we) made a critical investment that helped establish a progressive majority on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court."
4/ That's quite a claim. Did they really help create a "progressive majority" on the court?

According to campaign disclosures, the top fundraiser in the race was Pennsylvanians for Judicial Reform, which funnelled funds from the PA Alliance (they even shared a mailing address).
5/ And yes, it turns out the PA Alliance was indeed funded by Democracy Alliance.

The then-head of PA Alliance was Mary Shull, who was also state director of America Votes, another member of Democracy Alliance.
6/ Let's recap: Three of the Democrat justices on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court that ruled against Trump were elected in 2015 on the back of record campaign spending that led directly back to Democracy Alliance, a group founded by George Soros.

It doesn't end there.
7/ Remember when Pennsylvania Secretary of State Kathy Boockvar assured everyone that the election was carefully audited by groups like Democracy Fund and the Brennan Center?

Guess who backs both of these so-called auditors?

Yes, Democracy Alliance.
8/ There's still more.

In the fall of 2017, Democracy Alliance hosted a conference in California called "Beyond #Resistance: Reclaiming our Progressive Future" where they addressed key issues of voter mobilization and "turning resistance energy into electoral action."
9/ One of the featured speakers was Tom Wolf, the governor of Pennsylvania (George Soros also spoke and attendees included Kamala Harris).

Two years later, Wolf signed a bill that dramatically loosened Pennsylvania's rules on mail-in ballots (we know how that turned out).
10/ Now put it all together.

The left-wing group Democracy Alliance spent years putting money behind the politicians overseeing elections, the groups auditing elections, and even the judges adjudicating elections.

The same money. With the same goals. And the same results.
11/ And this is just Pennsylvania.

The influence of Democracy Alliance and numerous other Soros-backed entities reaches into other states and countries across the world, where the Soros-linked company Smartmatic has been hired to manage the vote in thousands of elections.
12/ An increasing number of elections are not being run by regular, apolitical people with a strong sense of fair play.

There is a massive organized effort to politicize the electoral process world-wide.

This should worry people across the political divide.

More to come.
Update: Adding a note to #7 above. I discovered a second group called Democracy Fund, and it's not linked to Democracy Alliance. This could be the Democracy Fund that Boockvar refers to.

If so, this is the group set up by eBay founder Pierre Omidyar,
cont ... a left-wing donor who contributed $450,000 to super PACs against Trump.

So one Democracy Fund is backed by Soros, and the other by Omidyar, a heavyweight Democrat donor.

Neither should be auditing elections.

I REALLY recommend people tune in. IT is a heated discussion, lots of solid arguments in play over number of voters on rolls NOT MATCHING CITIZENS OF LEGAL VOTING AGE IN NUMEROUS COUNTIES!

Over 70K in wayne county alone!

Currently in public comment period. Speaker claiming internet connectivity DURING the tabulation of results.

Re: 3rd Circuit court to hear Trump Case
So, if Alito decides to not kick this up to the SCOTUS, is he a confirmed Traitor/Biden-Communist/Satan ?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79434980

This was done to prevent it from going to the Supreme court...its a great thing
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 41540972

?????? Isn't that the whole point of this circus, to get it in front of the SCOTUS? Who would want to PREVENT it, and why? (well, besides the usual suspects, but they wouldn't have let it go this far if they could have squashed it earlier)
 Quoting: Eggcellently Deplorable

Great explanation.

I had already picked this up from bits and pieces here and there. But this was a perfect recap.
