My personal opinion. People who put in BTC at the hogh around 19-20k are now pulling out and dumping into their favorite altcoin to try and make some money they missed out on when BTC shit the bed and took years to come back. While i dont question xrp usefulness and backing i do question whether this will be a short term alt coin pump and dump. While i dont have alot of money involved. (A few thousand) it would hurt if i lost it so im being suspicious
