Lately what happens to me is the tracking system is broken, I might see tracking once before the package gets delivered.

Priority mail is taking between 4 and 9 days.

Worser and worser.

Christmas season will be a real nightmare for packages using usps.

I've been seeing packages landing in normal time but the estimated arrival dates are weird. I've got a package coming from a website I order from pretty regularly that whose packages normally come in 2-3 days but the tracking says it won't get here until Saturday. I'm pretty sure it'll be here Wednesday at least I hope so

Sometimes the packages on the sorting machines fall in the wrong container for another state/city. No way to stop that.

I ordered an item from Vermont, I live in Alaska. 10/15 it said it was headed from VT with fedex smart post (does that mean the post office?) to arrive in MA, then it went to PA, then Indiana, then WI, by 10/18 it was in MN, then to two more towns in MN, then 10/21 to MS, then 10/30 to TX, then 10/31 to CO, then 11/01 to UT, then to OR, then back to UT, then to WA by 11/3, 11/4 it leaves WA arriving 11/21 in Alaska.
What a lot of bother and wasted energy.

1 out of every 600 americans.if every american paid for one envelope a day,thats 300$ a day per employee.that sounds about right for typical postal employee daily cost.pay and benefits.

The tracking system has always been broken, sometimes it works, sometimes it dont but either way, i ship about 10 to 20 packages a week, no problems.

they have long stopped scanning it, and its estimated at certain route points by AI and algorithms, and updated. they also have been restructuring to send to hubs and then dispatch like the big carriers do instead of sorting at local areas and then sending it right on.

Thats what Dotard did sabotaging the USPS to try to stop mail in voting. A whistleblower told everyone they were removing mail sorting machines nationwide among other things to seriousy slow down the mail. They got caught. Judges made them reverse some of it but not all.

Funny how trumptards are crying fraud with flimsy ass "evidence" that doesnt hold up in court. Multiple judges ruled against trump's toady at USPS and made him stop sabotaging the mail for trump.

I wouldnt be suprised if the voting machines were rigged for trump and they got bypassed because most dems voted by mail.

I have a customer in Philadelphia that had a hard time getting her orders from USPS.

I live a 1/4 mile down a dirt road and caught the ups driver stuffing mail boxes instead of delivering. They even set packages on the ground next to the mailboxes.
