WTF Side effects may be so bad from Covid vaccine, that people may not come back for second round.
Someone in the article stated that it was better than getting covid. How so? Most people don't even realize they have had covid, until they get a test. This world has gone mad.

So the vaccine will make you sick. TWICE!!!

The vaccine will not stop you from getting Covid.

99.9% recover anyways.

Under the age of 65 only 1 in 300k die.

Who in their right mind under 65 would even consider it?

Can this get a bump or pin.

Seems to be a pretty important topic considering all of the threats being thrown around for anyone not willing to get the vaccine.

How do you define "recovered"?

Many who have recovered from Covid have developed neurological problems and nobody knows yet if they're permanent.

[link to www.nature.com (secure)]

"“The neurological symptoms are only becoming more and more scary,” says Alysson Muotri, a neuroscientist at the University of California, San Diego, in La Jolla.

The list now includes stroke, brain haemorrhage and memory loss. It is not unheard of for serious diseases to cause such effects, but the scale of the COVID-19 pandemic means that thousands or even tens of thousands of people could already have these symptoms, and some might be facing lifelong problems as a result."

I'm not saying Covid is a walk in the park, but I'd take my chances vs a vaccine, that may put me in the same spot anyways.

Leave it up to the individual, and give them the most current and accurate data to make the decision.

Forcing people to do anything in a free country is just wrong.

After reading the article a bit, I'm not entirely convinced covid was the only factor. 125 people in the UK out of how many infections? The flu can also leave people with complications.

That would be like saying that 125 people have reported feeling better after drinking coca cola while battling Covid.

It's not science, until more studies are done. Just like the vaccine needs more studies.

How can they even say it's 90+% effective when most recover and most don't have symptoms?

Well, I'm not too keen on forced vaccinations, either.

As for myself, I'm going to take the shot when it becomes available. I'm asthmatic and genetically prone to developing blood clots (already had TIAs). I'm permanently on Aspirin and cholesterol lowering meds. Anything beyond mild Covid symptoms will most likely kill me via asthma or a stroke/pulmonary embolism.

When I take the jab, I'll start a thread on GLP and report back on my condition. I'll tell my wife to post here using this account if the shot kills me.

Good luck.

I'm not anti vaccine in general. It sounds like a good bet for your specific situation.

Funny how they can't determine how long natural immunity will last, but they can make a vaccine, that can protect you for a determined amount of time.

Given the stats, It seems that natural immunity is still the safest bet for most people.

Perhaps they should vaccinate just the elderly and unhealthy first.

I know, right? They're trying to artificially manufacture consent, but literally everyone I know says they won't take it.

The vaccine is the world's first mass-produced artificial virus. Viruses can have DNA, or RNA. This is an mRNA virus. The m stands for messenger, which is just a designation they give to that particular type of RNA. RNA reproduce proteins that your cells need to function, or a malfunctioning protein that a virus wants to create.

But, the point is this: They say that the artificial mRNA they created aren't dangerous because they only recreate the protein spike on the outer shell of the covid virus--or at least what they think it is, because they haven't isolated or identified it yet--not the entire virus.

What they don't tell you is that it's the protein spike on the outer shell of the virus that punctures your cell wall and destroys it, so more mRNA can escape and continue to replicate throughout your body. What they don't tell you is that they are re-creating the HARMFUL part of the virus.

So, the vaccine invades your cells, takes over your cells' functions to replicate this harmful protein that destroys your cell walls, and then invades other cells as it spills out of the dead ones and starts all over.

That's exactly what a regular mRNA virus does. It invades and damages your cell walls, takes over your cells' powerhouses to replicate, and then destroys the cell walls to escape, invade more cells and continue replicating.

There is literally no difference between getting the vaccine and catching a natural virus, except in this case, we have no idea what damage that mRNA and protein will do aside from lysis of formerly healthy cells.

Or maybe they do know...

When my kids were little I went round and round on the vaccine issue.

Firstly, I got my first flu shot ever while pregnant because my infant could not. Also, a German Measles shot just to be safe. I also got a pertussis vaccine with my second child for the same reason.

I got the vaccines to protect them.

When it came time for their shots, I researched everything and then some. Both their father and I had been fully vaccinated as children.

I came to the conclusion that we're a very hardy bunch and while we were very likely to survive an illness, we were also very unlikely to be harmed by a vaccine.

So we spread out their shots as much as possible, occasionally postponing a dose or two so that the kids wouldn't get bombarded with everything all at once.

I'm sure the same approach will apply to COVID.

Not for myself, but for my friends and loved ones who are less hardy ... and well before my children get it, I'll be the test case for the jab. I'm the mom. If anyone gets the vaccine in my family, it will be me first.

There's no way, after everything this middle aged body has been through and ingested ... that a vaccine will harm me.

But I could never let them get it without having it myself first.

Except for one flu shot with an infant, I never got another ... until I fell in love with a man who only has one lung.

Now, I get it every year. He does, too ... but there's simply no reason to risk his lung more than we have to.

I think most healthy people who do get it are reasoning along these same lines.

You do realize there is a polio outbreak in Africa caused by the Gates sponsored polio vaccine? A vaccine can harm or kill you, this vaccine is completely new, they have no idea what it willl do to your body long term. The vaccine WILL make you violently ill and you will still pass covid on to others, plus you will still catch covid even with the vaccine
