Well I read your post in full and gave this thread five stars. You touch on a very interesting point: It's also a real possibility in my mind that my elderly relative and I were targeted and had it intentionally delivered to us somehow.

I can trace every individual I'm related to back more than 300 years anyway, but that's besides the point. His worry was that you never know what they're really going to do with that information. Consider one of the bigger ones is owned by Google. They own several odd biomedical patents as well. The only thing I can really say for sure is that from my personal experience, "COVID" doesn't seem to be contagious.
